Trust or Bust?

Psalm 20:7 " Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God." Some will trust in a man and some will trust in money, but we will trust in the name of our Lord! God has the final say so.... not the economy! It's easy to get nervous and worried with today's economy.... everyone feels the heat! But will we trust in the Lord? As Americans especially, it is humbling to need Gods provision. But God says in 1 Peter 5:6 " Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for me." He will lift us up in due time, his time, we are only to humble ourselves and cast our anxiety to him. And..... what else? He CARES for ME!!!! How great it is to know that not only does God love me, but he cares for me.

God has provided above and beyond for Adam and I. We can only call him faithful! So, when there is a bump in the road, or a rock, or even one those BIG boulders we TRUST that in due time he will lift us up!

Remember those monuments of the Old Testament? The people were to build monuments to remember God's faithfulness. There are many things that God has done in my life and yours; lets look back at those "monumental" times that God has shown his faithfulness, love, provision and care for us and TRUST that he will lift us up again ( it just might not look the same)!

" Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights." Habakkuk 3 :17-19
We are to TRUST in Gods providence regardless of our circumstances..... This i
s true FAITH !!

He enables us to go the heights! Whatever mountain that you are facing today..... TRUST that the Lord will enable you to go on the heights. Remember its by HIS divine strength not ou
r own! " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

So.... I am going to TRUST in the Lord, rather than a man or money, in humility cast my anxiety to Him who cares for me, and praise Him for His faithfulness and His strength, and He will lift me up in due time!!!!!

This is me.....

Hello,

I want to introduce myself & share my heart with you. First off, I am saved by the grace of Jesus Christ. I was not raised in the church, but was introduce to Christ as an eleven year old girl. Since I asked the Lord to be my personal savior I have longed to be set apart from this world for His glory. At nineteen, I was married to the man of my dreams. We have been Mr. & Mrs
for almost five years now . My husband is a great man of God and I love him with all my heart. Although we are both Christ followers, we are continually reminded that if we try to love each other by our own strength we fail. We know that the glue of our marriage is the Lord and the only true love that we have for one another is the love of God flowing through us. We understand that our relationship with each other is a direct reflection of our relationship with the Lord. We are humbled by this fact daily. Praise him that in our weakness He is strong. It is our desire that the Lord would use our marriage as an example for world to see His love for the church.

As a fellow wife, it is my desire to walk along side you and share with you the lessons that the Lord is teaching me. I long to be my husbands crown, and to build up my house rather than tear it down. Many times I fail in this, sometimes I am like decay in my husbands bones and tear down my house with my own hands ( Proverbs 12:4 & Proverbs 14:1). Thankfully the Lord doesn't expect us to be this great wife all by ourselves.... I would be in big trouble! He is faithful to never leave us or forsake us, and will give wisdom to all who ask ( Joshua 1:5 & James 1:5). Lets ask the Lord together to mold and shape us into His image and become wives of Noble Character.

We are expecting great things from you Lord!
